HILTON HOTEL I GATWICK, LONDON @ The Manser Practice Architects
Marvin Farr worked for The Manser Practice Architects in London for eight years, becoming a Director. During this time he was project architect on a new £21m, 233 bedroom extension to an existing hotel for Hilton International, including new suites and executive lounge.
He spent three productive years on this project from planning to completion, gaining invaluable experience on hotel operation and servicing, prefabricated bathroom pods, acoustics, rain-screens and external envelope coordination, building tolerances, build-ability, interiors detailing and contract administration. Delivered on time and on budget, this was a very successful project for the practice and secured repeat work from Hilton International.
